श्रीहयग्रीवस्तोत्रम् - Hayagriva Stotram - ஹயக்ரீவ ஸ்தோத்ரம்
अव्याकृताद्व्याकृतवानसि त्वं
नामानि रूपाणि च यानि पूर्वम् ।
शंसन्ति तेषां चरमां प्रतिष्ठां
वागीश्वर त्वां त्वदुपज्ञवाचः ।। 12
पदच्छेदः
अव्याकृतात् व्याकृतवान् असि त्वं
नामानि रूपाणि च यानि पूर्वम् ।
शंसन्ति तेषां चरमां प्रतिष्ठां
वाक् ईश्वर त्वां त्वत् उपज्ञ वाचः ।। 12
वाक् ईश्वर - கலைக்கடவுளே!
पूर्वम् - முதலில்
त्वं - நீ
अव्याकृतात् — மூலப்ரக்ருதியினின்று
यानि - எந்த
नामानि - பெயர்களையும்
रूपाणि च - உருவங்களையும்
व्याकृतवान् - படைத்தவனாக
असि- ஆகின்றாயோ,
तेषां - அவற்றின்
चरमां - கடைசியான
प्रतिष्ठां — சேருமிடமாக
त्वां - உன்னை
त्वत् उपज्ञ - நீ கண்டு வெளியிட்ட
वाचः - வேதங்கள்
शंसन्ति — புகழுகின்றன.
கலைகளுக்குத் தெய்வமாகிய ஸ்ரீ ஹயக்ரீவப் பெருமானே ! இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சம் படைப்புக்குமுன், பெயரும் உருவமும் இல்லாமல் இருந்தது. அந்த நிலைமையில் அது அவ்யாக்ருதம் என்று வழங்கியது. அதிலிருந்து மஹாந்-அஹங்காரம்-பஞ்சபூதங்கள் முதலியவற்றை நீ படைத்து அவற்றுக்குப் பெயரையும் உருவத்தையும் அளித்தாய். அப்பொருள்கள் அனைத்தையும் நீ சரீரமாகக் கொண்டு அவற்றுக்கு அந்தர்யாமியாயிருக்கின்றாய். ஆதலின் அவற்றைச் சொல்லும் சொற்கள் அவற்றுக்கு அந்தர்யாமியான உன்னைச் சொல்லியே முடிவு பெறுவதாலும், அவ்வுருவங்களுக்கு நீயே முடிவான ஆதாரமாயிருப்பதாலும், நீ தான் கடைசி எல்லையாகின்றாய். இக்கருத்தை நீ முதலில் கண்ட வேதங்கள் விளக்கி உன்னைப் புகழுகின்றன.
O Sri Hayagriva Perumal! the deity of all arts! Before the creation of this universe, it had neither name nor form. That state is called avyaakṛutam. From that state, You created the great entities—mahaan, ahankaara, and the five elements—and gave them their names and forms. You also became the body of all these objects and remain their inner controller (antaryaami). The words used to describe these objects ultimately refer to You, the inner self of all forms, and because You are the final support for them, You are the ultimate limit of everything. The Vedas, which first understood this truth, explain it and praise You.
Notes by Sri:
• All creation happens from Paramatma, and after pralayam (the great dissolution), everything returns to Paramatma.
• During creation, objects do not have name and form. This state is known as avyaakrutam.
• The 24 achit tattvas are created from Paramatma.
• Paramatma is the Sareeram (body) for all chit/chetanas and achit/achetanas
• Paramatma is the Antaryami (one who resides inside and Controls) of all chit and achit.
• The Vedas explain all the above aspects in detail.
