श्रीहयग्रीवस्तोत्रम् - Hayagriva Stotram - ஹயக்ரீவ ஸ்தோத்ரம்

त्वत्किङ्करालंकरणोचितानां

त्वयैव कल्पान्तर पालितानाम् ।
मञ्जुप्रणादं मणिनूपुरं ते
मञ्जूषिकां वदेगिरां प्रतीमः ।। 22
 
पदच्छेदः
त्वत् किङ्कर अलंकरण उचितानां
त्वया एव कल्पान्तर पालितानाम् ।
मञ्जु प्रणादं मणिनूपुरं ते
मञ्जूषिकां वदे गिरां प्रतीमः ।। 22
 
मञ्जु प्रणादं - இனிய ஒலியையுடைய
ते मणिनूपुरं  - உன் இரத்தினச் சதங்கையை
त्वत् किङ्कर - உன் அடியார்கள்
अलंकरण - அலங்கரித்துக் கொள்ள
उचितानां - ஏற்றனவாய்
त्वया एव  - உன்னாலேயே
कल्पान्तर - பல்வேறு கல்பங்களில்
पालितानाम् - பாதுகாக்கப்பட்டனவாயுள்ள
वदे गिरां  - வேத வாக்குக்களுக்கு 
मञ्जूषिकां - (காவற்) பெட்டியாக
प्रतीमः  - நம்புகின்றோம். 

ஸ்ரீ ஹயக்ரீவப் பெருமானே ! உலகில் மனிதர் தாங்கள் அணிவதற்கு உரிய அணிகளை ஒரு பெட்டகத்தில் வைத்து நெடுங்காலம் பாதுகாப்பது முறை. வேத வாக்குக்கள் உன் அடியார்கள் தம் முடியில் வைத்துப் போற்றும் அணிகளாய் விளங்குவன. அவற்றைக் கல்பந்தோறும் பிரமனுக்கு உபதேசித்துக் காத்து வருகின்றாய். உன் திருவடிச் சதங்கை ஒப்பற்ற இரத்தினங்களாலாகியது. அது செவிக்கு இனிய ஒலியை எழுப்புகின்றது. அவ்வொலி வேதங்களின் ஸாரார்த்தத்தைப் போதிப்பதாயுள்ளது. ஆகவே உன் திருவடிச் சதங்கை வேத வாக்குக்களைத் தன்னுள் பாதுகாக்கும் ஒரு பெட்டகமாக விளங்குவதாய் அறிகின்றோம்.

 O Hayagriva! In this world, people usually keep their precious ornaments safely stored in a box for a long time. But the words of the Vedas shine as sacred ornaments worn with respect on the heads of your devotees. You have been protecting these Vedic words by teaching them to Brahma in every age. The anklets on your divine feet are made of incomparable gems and produce a sweet, pleasing sound. That sound teaches the true essence of the Vedas. Therefore, we understand that your divine anklets themselves serve as a sacred treasure box that holds and protects the words of the Vedas within them.
