திருமுக வர்ணநம்
திருவரங்கனது
திருமுகமண்டலத்தில் அடியார்கள் விஷயத்தில் நல்ல கருத்தை வெளியிடும் புன்சிரிப்புத்
தவழ்கின்றது. அதனால் திருமுகம் மிக மலர்ந்து விளங்குகின்றது. கீழ்-மேல் உதடுகள் கோவைக்கனிபோல்
செம்மை நிறமாய் அழகியனவாயுள்ளன. தம் துன்பத்தை ஒழித்துக்கொள்ள விரும்பும்
சேதநர்கள் தூரத்தில் வரும்போதே அரங்கன் தன் திருமுகத்தை அவர்கள் பக்கமாய்த்
திருப்பிக் கடாக்ஷிக்கின்றான். அவன் பொன்னாலாகிய ஒரு திலகத்தைத்
திருநெற்றியில் அணிந்திருப்பது திருமுகத்துக்கே ஓரழகைத் தருகின்றது. திருக்கண்களின்
பெருமிடுக்கை நோக்கும்போது அடைதற்கு வருமவர்க்குத் திருமுகம் நல்வரவு
கூறுவதுபோல் விளங்குகின்றது. இத்தகைய அரங்கனது திருமுகமண்டலம் அடியேனது உள்ளத்தில்
ஆழப்பதிந்து விளங்குகின்றது.
The Divine Face
On the divine face of Lord
Ranganatha, a gentle smile shines, showing His loving thoughts toward His
devotees. Because of this smile, His face looks bright and fully blossomed like
a flower. His upper and lower lips are red and beautiful like the kovai fruit.
When people who wish to remove their sorrows come from a distance, the Lord
turns His face toward them and blesses them with His kind glance. He wears a
golden tilak on His forehead, which adds special beauty to His face. When we
see the greatness and compassion in His divine eyes, it feels as if His face is
warmly welcoming those who come to seek Him. Such a divine face of Lord
Ranganatha is deeply printed in my heart and shines within me.
