கீழ்க் கூறிய இரு பிராட்டிமாரிலும் நப்பின்னைப் பிராட்டிக்கு எம்பெருமானை மயக்கும் வல்லமை மிக்கிருக்கும். திருவேங்கடமுடையானிடம் நப்பின்னைப்பிராட்டி பலவகையான சிங்கார லீலைகளைப் புரிகின்றாள். இச் செயல்கள் எதற்காக? அடியார்களைக் காப்பதற்கே. இவளுடைய லீலைகளில் ஸ்ரீநிவாஸன் மயங்கிவிடுகின்றான். கண்ணில் குற்றமிருந்தால் வஸ்துக்களைப் பார்க்கவியலாது. நப்பின்னையின் லீலைகள் எம்பெருமான் கண்ணுக்கு வந்த குற்றங்கள் போன்றனவாம். இவற்றால் எம்பெருமான் பார்க்கும் சக்தியை இழந்தவன் போல் பாவனை செய்கின்றான். அதாவது நப்பின்னைப் பிராட்டியின் லீலைகளில் மயங்கிக் கிடக்கும் திருவேங்கடமுடையானுக்கு அடியார்களிடம் உள்ள குற்றங்கள் படுவதேயில்லையாம். ஆதலின் எத்தகைய பாபியாயினும் எம்பெருமான் அவனைக் காத்துவிடுகின்றான். இவ்வாறு அருள் புரிகின்ற நப்பின்னைப் பிராட்டி அடியேனைக் கடாக்ஷித்தருளவேண்டும். Salutations to Neelaa Devi – One Who Enchants the Lord to Protect
Devotees
Among the two Pirattis mentioned earlier, Neelai
alias Nappinnai has a special power to enchant the Lord. She performs many
charming and playful leelas with Lord Srinivasa of Tiruvengadam. Why does she
do this? Only to protect the devotees. Through her divine plays, the Lord
becomes completely absorbed in her. Just as a defect in the eye prevents one
from seeing objects clearly, Nappinnai’s leelas act like a “loving distraction”
to the Lord’s vision. Because of this, He behaves as though He cannot see the faults
of the devotees. In other words, as the Lord remains enchanted by Nappinnai
Piratti’s leelas, He does not notice the faults in His devotees. Therefore, no
matter how sinful a person may be, the Lord protects him. May this
compassionate Nappinnai Piratti bless me with her gracious glance. (8)
