13 - கருணை வெள்ளத்தில் பாபங்கள்
நிலைக்க முடியாது – In the flood of
Compassion, Sins Cannot Survive
கருணை வெள்ளத்தில் பாபங்கள் நிலைக்க முடியாது
பெருமை மிக்க தயாதேவியே! திருவேங்கடமுடையான் மலைமீது உயரமான இடத்தில் உறைகின்றான். அவனையே உனது வெள்ளத்தில் மூழ்கிக் கிடக்கச் செய்துவிட்டாய். அப்படியிருக்க, என் பாபங்களும் உன் வெள்ளத்தில் மூழ்கி விடுவதில் தடை உண்டோ? அவனே மூழ்கித் தடுமாறும் போது அவன் நெஞ்சில் நினைத்திருக்கும் என் பாபங்களும் அவனே சேர்ந்து உன் வெள்ளத்தில் மூழ்கிவிடாவோ? ஆகவே என் பாபங்களுக்குக் கைகொடுத்துக் கரையேற்றுபவர் ஒருவரும் இல்லை. (திருவேங்கடமுடையானுடைய குணங்களை நீயே முதன்மை ஸ்தாநம் பெற்றிருப்பதால் நீ நிறைந்திருக்கப் பெற்ற அவன் என்னைக் குளிரக் கடாக்ஷித்து என் பாபங்களை ஒழித்து என்னைக் காத்தருள்வான் — என்று உட்கருத்து) (13)
In the Flood of Compassion, Sins Cannot Survive
O glorious
Goddess of Compassion! Lord Srinivasa lives on the high Tiruvengadam hill, yet
you have made even Him remain immersed in your flood of compassion. If that is
so, can my sins escape being drowned in your flood? When even the Lord is
immersed and overwhelmed by you, will not my sins—held in His heart—also sink
along with Him into your compassion? Therefore, there is no one who can support
or save my sins. Since you hold the highest place among His qualities and fully
fill Him, He will surely cast a cooling, gracious glance on me, remove my sins,
and protect me. (Inner Meaning – Daya Devi, Since you hold the highest
place among all the qualities of Lord Srinivasa and completely fill Him, He
will surely look at me with a cool and kind glance, remove my sins, and protect
me.) (13)
