ஜாயமான
கடாக்ஷம், மோக்ஷம்
எளிதில் அளிக்கும்
தயாதேவி
தயாதேவியே! திருவேங்கடமலையிலே எல்லோருடைய
கண்களுக்கும் நல்விருந்தாய் ஒரு பூர்ண சந்திரன்போலக் காட்சி தருகின்றான்
ஸ்ரீநிவாஸன். அவன் தன் திருக்கண்களால் சேதநனைக் குளிரக் கடாக்ஷிக்க வேண்டுமென்று
நீ விரும்புகின்றாய். அதற்காக அவன் கண்ணிலே நீ அமர்ந்து அவனுக்குச் சேதநன்
விஷயத்தில் அன்பு உண்டாகும்படி செய்கின்றாய். இதற்கும் காரணமாகச் சேதநன்
பிறக்கும்போதே அவனை நீ கடாக்ஷித்துவிடுகின்றாய். இதுதானே ஜாயமான கடாக்ஷம்
எனப்படுகின்றது. இதனால் அவன் ஆசார்ய ஸம்பந்தம் பெற்று நல்லறிவை அடைந்து சாஸ்த்ர
முறைப்படி ஸ்ரீநிவாஸன் திருவடிகளில் ப்ரபத்தியைச் செய்கின்றான். இதனால்
ஸ்ரீநிவாஸன் அவனைக் குளிரக் கடாக்ஷித்து அவன் பக்தியோகம் முதலிய கடின உபாயங்களைச்
செய்ய வேண்டாதபடி அந்த ஸ்தாநத்திலே தானே நின்று இதுவரை மோக்ஷம் கொடுக்க
இசையாதிருந்த தன் ஸங்கல்பத்தை மாற்றிவிடுகின்றான். சேதநன் பின்பு ஒன்றும் செய்ய
வேண்டாதபடி அவனுக்கு மோக்ஷத்தைக் கொடுத்து அநுபவிக்கச் செய்கின்றான். உழவுத்
தொழில் செய்யும் பிரயாசத்தைக் கொள்ளாமல் இருக்குமிடத்திலேயே சிறிய செயலைக்கொண்டு
நிலத்தில் விளையும் பலனை நிரம்பப் பெறுகின்ற ஒரு பாக்கியவான்போல் அவன்
பக்தியோகத்தைச் செய்யும் பிரயாசமின்றியே எளிய ப்ரபத்தியாலேயே நித்யமான
மோக்ஷாந்தத்தை அநுபவிக்கின்றான். இதற்கு நீதானே முதற்காரணமாயுள்ளாய்.

புதன் பிறக்கின்றான் என்பதை 'இந்து'
'தாராமைத்ரீ' 'ஜநிமாந்' என்ற சொற்களால் குறித்த சுவை காண்க.] (20)
Compassion that Grants
Moksha with Ease
O Goddess of Compassion! In Tiruvengadam, Lord Srinivasa shines like a full moon, delighting the eyes of all. You desire that He should cast His cool and gracious glance upon the Jeevathmas. For this, you reside in His eyes and make Him develop love toward them. Even at the time of their birth, you bless them with your glance—this is called the “birth-blessing glance” (jāyamāna kaṭākṣa). Because of this, they gain the connection of an Acharya, receive true knowledge, and follow the path of the Shastras to perform prapatti at the feet of Srinivasa. Then, the Lord casts His compassionate glance on them and changes His earlier resolve of not granting moksha easily. He stands there Himself and ensures they need not struggle with difficult paths like Bhakti Yoga. Without requiring them to do anything further, He grants them moksha and allows them to enjoy it. Just like a fortunate farmer who gains a rich harvest with little effort, without undergoing the strain of hard labor, the Jeevathma attains the eternal joy of moksha through the simple path of prapatti. You alone are the root cause of all this grace.
