தெய்வீக
திருமேனியை வெளிப்படுத்தும் கருணை கடல்
தயாதேவியே! முன்பு திருப்பாற்கடல் மந்தரமலையை மத்தாக்கக்கொண்டு கடையப்பட்டபொழுது சந்திரன் முதலியவர்கள் கிடைத்தனர். பின்பு இறந்தவரைப் பிழைப்பூட்டும் அமுதம் வெளிப்பட்டது. இனியவளாகவும் கலக்கமுடியாதவளாகவும் இருப்பதால் நீ திருப்பாற்கடலாகின்றாய். நல்லோர்களது நல்ல அறிவாகிய மத்தினால் பாற்கடலாகிய உன்னைக் கடைந்தபொழுது உன்னிடமிருந்து தோன்றிய மிக ஸாரமான அமுதமே ஸ்ரீநிவாஸனுடைய தெய்வீகத் திருமேனியாய்த் திகழ்கின்றது. எல்லையற்ற கருணையாகிய உன்னாலேதான் சுத்த ஸத்துவ மயமான திருமேனியைக் கொண்டு இத்திருமலையில் அர்ச்சை வடிவாய் அவன் எழுந்தருளியுள்ளான். இறந்தவர்களுக்கு உயிரூட்டும் அமுதம்போல் இந்தத் திருமேனியும், ஸேவித்துச் சரணமடைந்தவர்க்கு யம பயத்தைப் போக்கி மோக்ஷம் வரையிலுள்ள எல்லாப் பலன்களையும் அளித்து வாழ்விக்கின்றது. இப்படி எம்பெருமான் திருமலையில் அர்ச்சை வடிவு கொண்டதற்கும் நீதானே காரணமாகின்றாய். Compassion as the Ocean
that Reveals the Divine Form
O Goddess of Compassion! Earlier, when the Milk Ocean was churned using Mount Mandara as the churning rod, many things like the moon emerged, and finally the nectar that could revive the dead came out. Because you are sweet and cannot be disturbed or agitated, you are like that Milk Ocean. When noble Jeevathmas, using their pure knowledge as the churning rod, churn you—the ocean of compassion—the most precious nectar that arises from you is the divine form of Lord Srinivasa. It is because of your boundless compassion that He has taken a pure, divine form and stands in Tirumala in archā - worshipful vigraha form. Just like nectar that gives life to the dead, this divine form gives life to those who worship and surrender to Him. It removes the fear of Yama (death) and grants all blessings, including moksha-liberation. Thus, you are the very cause for the Lord manifesting in Tirumala in this accessible divine form. (22)
