திருப்பொய்கையாகிய திருமால் திருமேனி
உலகில் பேரரசி விநோதமாய்ப் பொழுது போக்குவதற்கு மலைக்குச் செல்வது வழக்கம். அம்மலையில் பெரிய பொய்கை அமைந்திருக்கும். அதில் புதிய புதிய கருநெய்தல் மலர்களும் தாமரைப் பூக்களும் மலர்ந்து பொய்கையை அழகுபடுத்தும். தெளிந்த நீர் அதில் நிரம்பி எப்பொழுதும் குளிர்ந்திருக்கும். அதன் சீர்மையைக் கண்டு ஜனங்களும் ஆவலோடு வந்து நீராடிச் செல்வர். தயாதேவியே! ஸ்ரீநிவாஸனுடைய பட்டமஹிஷியாகிய உனக்கு உற்சாகமாய்ப் பொழுதுபோக்கத் திருவேங்கடமென்னும் உயர்ந்த மலை அமைந்துள்ளது. இதில் உனக்குப் பயன்படுவதற்கு ஏற்ற எம்பெருமானது திருமேனியே ஒரு பெரிய உயர்ந்த பொய்கையாகும். இப்பொய்கையில் திருவுந்திக் கமலம் மலர்ந்து நிற்கின்றது. இந்தத் திருமேனியில் ஓடும் நீலநிறம், புதிய கருநெய்தல் மலர்கள் பூத்துக் குலுங்குவதுபோல் காட்சியளித்துத் திருமேனியின் அழகைப் பெருக்குகின்றது. இந்தத் திருமேனி ஸேவிப்பவர்களின் கண்களுக்கு நல்விருந்தாய்க் குளிர்ந்து நிற்கின்றது; தன்னை ஸேவிக்கும் சேதநர்களுக்கு அநுக்ரஹம் செய்யப் பாங்கானது; சிரத்தையுடைய மக்கள் எப்பொழுதும் அநுபவித்துத் தங்கள் தாபத்தைத் தீர்த்துக்கொள்ள உரியது. இத்தகைய திருமேனிப் பொய்கை உனக்கு உரியதாய் மிக்க பெருமையுடன் விளங்குகின்றது. Srinivasan’s Divine form is
a pond
In this
world, it is customary for a great queen to visit a mountain for joyful
recreation and relaxation. On that mountain there is usually a beautiful pond
filled with clear, cool water. Fresh blue lilies and lotus flowers bloom there
and add beauty to the pond. Seeing its charm, people eagerly come to bathe in
it and refresh themselves.
O Goddess
of Compassion! For you, the crowned queen of Lord Srinivasa, the lofty
Tiruvengadam hill serves as such a delightful place of enjoyment. And within
this sacred hill, the divine body of the Lord itself is like a great and
splendid pond meant for your delight. In this pond, the lotus arising from His
divine navel blooms beautifully. The dark blue color flowing through His divine
form appears like clusters of fresh blue water-lilies blossoming everywhere,
increasing the beauty of that sacred form.
This divine
form stands cooling and pleasing to the eyes of all who behold it. It is ever
ready to shower grace upon the beings who worship Him. Devoted people
continuously experience and enjoy this divine beauty, and by doing so, the heat
and suffering of their hearts are removed. Thus, this pond-like divine form,
filled with beauty and grace, shines gloriously as something specially
belonging to you. (43)
