Daya Devi, the Giver of Every Fruit
Daya Devi! There is no place
where you are not present. You pervade everywhere, and all your divine acts
ultimately become sources of good for Jeevathmas. According to the degree of
punya earned by each Jeevan, you grant them the appropriate results. Truly, there
is no blessing that cannot be obtained through you.
If a person desires to become
Siva and performs the required punya for that state, you grant him the position
of Siva. If another person desires an even higher position, such as that of
Brahma, and performs greater punya, you grant him birth as Brahma.
But if a person, with complete
discrimination and wisdom, understands that all such positions are temporary
and unstable, and instead desires the eternal bliss of Moksha, then you grant
him the supreme abode of Sri Vaikuntha, the realm of Tiruvengadamudaiyan, the
Lord of Paramapadam.
Thus, there is no fruit beyond your power to grant. You bestow every attainment according to the desire, understanding, and spiritual effort of each Jeevathma. (53)
