श्रीमते निगमान्त महादेशिकाय नम:
स्थिर चर शिल्पिनैव परिकल्पित चित्र धियः ।
यतिपति यामुन प्रभृतयः प्रथयन्ति दये
जगति हितं न नस्त्वयि भरन्यसनादधिकम् ॥ 59 ॥
त्वत् उदय तूलिकाभि: अमुना वृषशैल जुषा
स्थिर चर शिल्पिना एव परिकल्पित चित्र धियः ।
यतिपति यामुन प्रभृतयः प्रथयन्ति दये
जगति हितं न न: त्वयि भरन्यसनात् अधिकम् ॥ 59 ॥
वृषशैल जुषा — திருவேங்கட மலையில் உறைபவனாய்
स्थिर चर — தாவர ஜங்கமங்களைப் படைக்கின்ற
शिल्पिना — சிற்பியாயுள்ள
अमुना एव — இந்த ஸ்ரீநிவாஸனாலேயே
त्वत् उदय — உன் எழுச்சிகளாகிய
तूलिकाभि: — எழுதுகோல்களால்
परिकल्पित — அமைக்கப்பட்ட
चित्र धियः — சித்திரங்களைக் கொண்ட புத்திகையுடையரான
यतिपति — ஸ்ரீபாஷ்யகாரர்
यामुन — ஆளவந்தார்
प्रभृतयः — முதலியவர்கள்
त्वयि — உன்னிடம்
भरन्यसनात् — ப்ரபத்தி செய்வதிலும்
अधिकम् हितं — மேம்பட்ட உபாயம்
जगति — உலகில்
न: — எங்களுக்கு
न इति — இல்லையென்று
प्रथयन्ति — வெளியிடுகின்றனர்.
ஆசார்யர்
மனச்சுவரில் வரையப்பட்ட தத்துவச் சித்திரங்கள்
தயாதேவியே! திருவேங்கடமுடையான் ஸ்தாவரஜங்கமமாகிய உலக முழுதும் படைக்கும் ஒரு விசித்திர சிற்பி. இவன் சித்திரம் வரைவதில் வல்லவன். அதிலும் உள்ளத்தில் எந்நாளும் அழியாத சித்திரத்தை அழகுபட வரைவான். ஸ்ரீபாஷ்யகாரர் - ஆளவந்தார் - நாதமுனிகள் முதலிய ஆசார்யர்களின் புத்தியென்னும் சுவரில் தத்துவார்த்தங்களென்னும் சித்திரங்களை எழில் மிக வரைந்தருளினான் ஸ்ரீநிவாஸனென்னும் சிற்பி. இந்தச் சித்திரங்களை வரைய எழுதுகோல் வேண்டுமே! கருணையாகிய உன் எழுச்சிகளே எழுதுகோல்கள். இப்படி எம்பெருமான் அவ்வாசார்யர்களுக்கு விசேஷ ஜ்ஞாநத்தை அருள்வதற்குக் கருணையாகிய நீ தானே காரணமாகின்றாய். இவ்வாறு எம்பெருமானிடம் மதிநலம் பெற்ற அவ்வாசார்யர்கள் தங்கள் உபதேச பரம்பரையாலும் ஸ்ரீஸூக்திகளாலும் நம் ஸித்தாந்தத்தின் முக்கியக் கருத்துக்களை வெளியிட்டருளினர். அவற்றுள் நமக்கு மிகவும் முக்கியமான ஸாரார்த்தம் யாதெனில், பக்தியோகத்தைச் செய்வதற்கு ஏற்ற ஜ்ஞாநம் சக்தி முதலியவற்றைப் பெற நமக்கு மோக்ஷம் பெற உன் திருவடிகளில் பரந்யாஸமென்னும் ப்ரபத்தியைக் காட்டிலும் மேம்பட்ட உபாயம் உலகில் வேறு ஒன்றுமில்லை என்பதேயாம். இதையே ஆசார்யர்கள் நமக்கு முக்கியமாகக் காட்டியருளினார்கள். Devi! Tiruvengadamudaiyan is a wondrous divine artist who creates the entire
universe consisting of both moving and unmoving beings. He is supremely skilled
in painting. More wonderfully, He paints pictures that never fade from the
heart.
That divine
sculptor and painter, Srinivasa, beautifully drew the paintings of Tattvaarthas
— the truths of reality — upon the wall-like intellects of great Acharyas such
as Ramanuja, Yamunacharya, and Nathamuni.
But
paintings cannot be drawn without brushes. The brushes used for these divine
paintings were none other than the movements and impulses of your compassion.
Thus, it is you, O embodiment of mercy, who became the cause for Bhagavan
granting these Acharyas extraordinary spiritual wisdom.
Having
received such divine clarity from the Lord, those Acharyas revealed the
essential truths of our Siddhantam through their teachings, guru-parampara, and
sacred works. Among all those teachings, the most important essence conveyed to
us is this:
We do not
possess the knowledge, strength, or qualifications needed to perform Bhakti
Yoga properly. Therefore, for attaining Moksham, there is no greater or
superior upayam in this world than Prapatti — specifically Bharanyasam
at your divine feet. (59)
