பாப
சக்கரவர்த்தி சரணடைந்த கருணைச் சக்கரவர்த்தினி
தயாதேவியே! குற்றங்களுக்கெல்லாம் யான்
சக்கரவர்த்தியாயுள்ளேன். குற்றங்களே என் ஆளுகைக்கு உள்பட்ட வஸ்துக்களாகும். நீயோ
எம்பெருமானுடைய குணங்களுக்குள் சக்கரவர்த்தினியாய் உள்ளாய். மற்ற குணங்கள்
அனைத்தும் உன் ஆளுகைக்கு அடங்கியனவே. இப்படி நம் இருவருக்கும் சமமாக உள்ள பெருமையை
நீ நன்கு அறியவேண்டும். பெண்ணரசியான நீ என்மீது தானாகவே படையெடுத்துக்
குற்றங்களென்னும் எனது இராச்சியத்தை நீ கவர்ந்துகொண்டு, என்னையும் பிடித்துத் திருவேங்கடமுடையானது
திருவடியின் கீழ் சிறைப்படுத்தி வைக்கவேண்டும். குணங்கள் தலைமை பெற்ற நீ
பாபகளுக்குத் தலைமைபெற்ற என் பாபங்களைத் தொலைத்து என்னைத் திருவேங்கடநாதன்
தாளிணைக்கீழ் சேர்த்தருளவேண்டுமென்று பிரார்த்தித்தபடி. பாபச் சுழலில் அகப்பட்டு
நிற்கும் நான் அபராத சக்கர வர்த்தி. நீ குணங்களுக்குச் சக்கரவர்த்தினி. சமமான
பதவியிலுள்ளவர்கள் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உதவிசெய்வது நியாயம் தானே! ஆதலால் கருணையாகிய
நீ உனக்கும் உறைவிடமான ஸ்ரீநிவாஸன் திருவடிகளில் என்னைச் சேர்த்துவிடலாகிய இந்த
உதவியை எனக்குச் செய்தருள வேண்டும்- என்றும் கருத்துக் கூறுவர். (30)
The Emperor of Sins Seeking
the Queen of Compassion
O Goddess
of Compassion! I am the emperor of all faults and sins. Sins are the subjects
under my rule. You, on the other hand, are the empress among all the divine
qualities of the Paramathma. All His other qualities stand under your authority. You
must recognize that both of us hold positions of equal greatness in our own
realms.
Therefore,
you, the queen of divine qualities, should march against me, conquer my kingdom
of sins, capture me, and place me as a prisoner beneath the divine feet of Paramathma Srinivasa. Since you are the leader among virtues, you must destroy the sins
ruled by me, the leader among sinners, and unite me with the feet of
Tiruvengadanatha.
Another
inner meaning is this: I am the emperor trapped in the whirlpool of sins, while
you are the empress of virtues. Is it not natural for rulers of equal rank to
help one another? Therefore, you, who dwell at the feet of Srinivasa, should
grant me this help also—by placing me at those very divine feet. (30)
